Patriots Weekend at the NW Natural Street of Dreams!

The BBAC is pleased to host a special Flag Raising event at the site of the 1st American made home ever to be featured on a Street of Dreams, The American Dream! We’re honored to have Vietnam Veteran, Bruce Douglas, raise the flag with the assistance of a local Boy Scout troop to commence the ceremony. The ceremony will include the singing of the National Anthem by Duane Johnson and a special tribute to all American veterans in honor of their service. In addition, Brittney Hamilton, Executive Director of Operation Ward 57, will be onsite all day with information about opportunities to help veterans and service men and women wounded in combat.

Made in America Month Kick Off Event!

Because  Made In America Still MattersThe BBAC partnered with George Morlan Plumbing Supply to present a Kick-Off Event on June 28th celebrating Oregon’s Made in America Month! The event featured guest speaker, Jake Lewendahl from Bozeman, MT and the local Portland band Big Night Out. Contractors and vendors came together to enjoy this fantastic night!

July is Oregon’s Made in America Month!

On March 19, 2013, Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber signed a Proclamation declaring July 2013 as Oregon’s Made in America month!
